Who's Responsible for DOE Capital Planning?
成人视频appThe Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) oversees the DOE IT portfolio, while the Information Technology Council (ITC) serves as the primary governance body for Department IT capital planning matters, charged with:
- reviewing the annual IT budget
- conducting quarterly control reviews of major IT investments
- approving and distributing CPIC policies and documentation
The DOE Capital Planning and Investment Control Working Group, established in July 2010, is comprised of representatives from each of the Program and Staff Offices who make CPIC policy recommendations to the ITC.
The Electronic Capital Planning and Investment Control System (eCPIC) is a government-wide, government-owned technology system and web-based service. eCPIC training is provided periodically throughout the year and is specifically designed for personnel inputting data into the system and managing Non-Major and Major reporting. The training explains eCPIC functionality and provides guidance on how to report Non-Major and Major information.
